He put her through hell and back, and still didn’t suffer half of that… my girl deserves the rose bouquets, fat diamond ring, big house paid off and a catering husband 25/8!!!! I wonder if the novel shows more suffering/ better pacing than this manga. I did like the plot and angst I just wish there was more and he suffered a LOT more than his tornado accident cause he really tried to play in Terrys face like that… who does he think he is?? Grange sweetie you did amazing!! Terry don’t forget to punch JB in the ribs from time to time
So I ended up finding the novel and finishing it 24hrs later… I can say the manga did it true justice. The book was short and about the same pace with a bit more detail in between but I did enjoy it. Again, I don’t believe he suffered half as much as Tellie did but I hope she gets everything she wants and all her dreams come true!!
If anyone is curious about the other characters: Marge gets better with her new medication, Grange testifies against his superior and they offer him a place back in the military but deciding what to do, he does attend their wedding and him & JB make up. Tellie is pregnant 2 weeks after marrying and yes the marriage is as quick as the manga, coffee place engagement -that same weekend wedding & all. Nell moves back to work for JB again after Tellie pregnancy announcement, the French chef goes to work for Marge instead, and then Tellie and JB live happily ever after
