The first one kinda felt like a horror story that was like 'oh crap I forgot to be romantic' and then tried to make the uke seem like he was in love. It was horrifying.

Both of the mcs have to be bat shit crazy. They both rub me the wrong way in the best way. I'm excited to see if it goes balls to the walls crazy or if it turns into a healing romance. Both would be fine for me.

I agree with others that I don't think they should get together in the end, at least not for a long time. The love they have should stay platonic until they're both in healthier situations, especially him. Also getting into a relationship would probably make her life worse until all the unsavory characters are gone.
