This is not even slow burn, 20 chapters isn’t long to wait for a sex scene. Plus there was a blowjob in chapter 13, what the fuck do you guys want? sex every single chapter? The pacing is perfect. If they fucked immediately there wouldn’t be built up sexual tension. The art is great and the characters have amazing chemistry. The plot is creative compared to most BL manga. It’s not rapey or overly cliché. This is genuinely the best yaoi manhwa i’ve seen in a long time.

I genuinely can’t see a relationship between Ian and Jo ever working. It’s not even a matter of personal preference, I think both Jo and TJ have their qualities. TJ and Ian have history and a pretty strong bond regardless of how mutually toxic they are. Jo is good for Ian. I don’t think they lack chemistry like some are saying but a long term relationship between the two of them just wouldn’t be functional. I see that a lot of the readers seem to think Jo is better for Ian than TJ but if you look at their relationship realistically, Jo would be putting his safety at risk by dating an ex-thug. Even if Ian quit for good, he would forever be at risk of retaliation. I can’t imagine it would be worth it, especially considering how jaded Ian is in comparison to Jo. I think Ian would be a worse partner for Jo than TJ has ever been for Ian. They come from different worlds, Jo has a family and a pretty good life going. TJ and Ian are at least similar in how they’re both fucked up, violent people.
