I’ve seen comments where it says that the reason that the MC “friend” committed suicide was because he was gang raped in a villa that was owned by the ML. The ML used that villa to invite important/ powerful people to indulge in drugs, orgys etc. so he could have blackmail against them. The deceased friend had evidence against the ML and that’s what was inside the box that he sent the MC but since he didn’t consider him as anything he didn’t bother to look at the contents in the box. The box wasn’t thrown away and the ML happens to find it and burn it so the MC never finds out about his secrets? Anyways what I’m trying to figure out is that someone said that there’s a chasing arc? Can someone spoil that for me as to what happens also I read that the MC is trying to kill the ML? Please help lol2025-11-10 17:07 marked
I just finished Frankenstein and reading this is certainly a ride, the way the author contrasts Henry Clerval with this rendition making him more cynical compared to Frankenstein really adds to the emotional distress Victor feels. In the original book, Henry is supposed to be the life to Victor, caring for him in every possible context even when he's ill, I like how they use Heart to express that as it makes you think, did Henry truly like Victor despite him seemingly distant with him?
I honestly could care less about Dick but he's still an amazing character who does embrace the ideas of Victor's fear of being like the cynical Henry, to be something that he'd had so much so despised of becoming simply because he was hurt by it, he can't live with the idea of being like the man he had desperately hated inside. Which is why he's such a core character and couldn't be removed
Head contains the cold and collective as well as the controlling aspect of Henry. It's the one leverage he has over Victor, it's the weakness Victor has, being his appearance. Most of the reason he gives into what Head does is because he looks exactly like Henry, which represents the shallowness behind Victor and how he views his interpretations of everything is correct, which is directly related to how he's extremely boastful about his achievements as he believes he himself is god. I'd still like to know the kind of connection him and Victor have for him to be able to read his mind.
Last, but not least, Heart, this is the most accurate version of the creature within this book. He's constantly being shown hostility by Victor and is often feared by him too. Heart definitely wants to feel connection with Victor, but is rejected because he's hideous or looks the least bit like Henry. The fact he cares so much about Victor is because he has Henry's heart, which begs the question, why was Henry so cold towards Victor, there is an idea that he is simply hungry with the desire of power, but he still cares for Victor, or he has a sense of romanticism to him which makes him want Victor to understand, but as he's so stubborn and would most likely not admit it, Henry had to turn towards a cold method to ensure he has control over him. In a way he's Lucifer, asking for more and more till it hit him and divided him into three.
There's a lot more to go over with this rendition for sure, but personally I want to see the growth between Heart and Victor.

I will post my unpopular opinion, and I say I really didn't like the father after the last chapter. I get it; he is a victim who got forced to have sex with men. While he is attracted to women, he was not allowed to make a family because he had to please men. But pushing his hatred toward a child that is not the cause of his misery, tbh, turned me off of liking him. I get it; no victim is perfect. But it's not like I can help with my feelings, you know. I mean, they are just characters; it's not like I'm disliking a real person. Also, scenarios like those rarely happen in real life; queer people are the ones that get forced to get with the opposite sex and make a family, especially women.Edit: when I said, "Also, scenarios like those rarely happen in real life; queer people are the ones that get forced to get with the opposite sex and make a family, especially women." I meant the character wanting to get married to the opposite sex while he is not allowed to, while in real life, that rarely happens, and the opposite happens: queer people are the ones who get forced to get with the opposite sex to marry them. Yet people were interpreting it as being about prostitution. Like if you are going to attack me, attack me for this shit. Stop ignoring what I'm saying and villainizing me because I said I didn't like a fictional character because he took in a child he didn't like and then had a built-in hatred for him, Then he said to the ML that he always hated him and then literally stabbed him. Like if this happened in real life, whatever, maybe I would excuse it, but this is a 2D character, and I'm allowed to dislike him for it.
bottoms in BL are men. Like, I'm tired of people heterofying gay shit. Just because he is a bottom doesn't mean he is a woman. Quite frankly, it's quite misogynistic to even suggest it. Why are you linking bottoming to being a woman? Most of the time I love bottoms more than tops, but sometimes you dislike a character; it's normal. But then they jump you by saying, "How dare you? He's gone through this, this, and this. He is a victim." Like and? If you are so passionate about him and his pain, why are you reading this manhwa where he gets brutally raped again and again, where it's clear the author is sexualizing it? Like you jumped at people for criticizing the manhwa for being rapey by saying, "It's just fiction, and people are going too woke," yet you are jumping people who didn't like the character and then trying to guilt-trip them. Like, which one do you believe? Do you believe it's just a fiction, or do you believe that not liking the character makes you a horrible person? and then accuse you of misogyny because you didn't like a straight man who got forced to have sex with men. First, men get fucking raped. You were trying to convince me that straight men's prostitution is a serious thing and it's really prevalent, and then you are linking rape and prostitution to women by calling me a misogynist for not liking the character. Second, the character was clearly desiring women and wanted to build a family with them. HE.IS.A.STRAIGHT.MAN. How is it misogynistic to not like him? Like, I really feel bad and sorry for him for going through being raped, but at the end of the day he is a character that I don't like. Like, I don't even like the ML that much; I just didn't like that he took in a child that he hated in the first place because he thought the child was taking his woman away or some shit. Like, people were waiting for a reason why the father hated the ML, and this was his reason. Like, I was disappointed about it, because at the end of the day, this is a story; I expected there to be a better reason for the plot's sake and got disappointed. Like, I really loved the father; I really thought his reasons were deep, but they weren't that deep tbh, and it's just made me disappointed with his character. Those things made me not like him.

So, I'm gonna try and dissect (hehe) this based on the meager information –including spoilers– we have.Henry is a fuckboy and a cheater. He and Victor are very distant relatives. Victo's family died when he was young leaving him loaded. H and V know each other since childhood and have promised to be together forever since then because they're both weird and lonely. V did not kill H but did imply he would've done so if H tried to leave him.
Heart tells us that H did have feelings for V. Dick tells us that H was a Slut. Mind tells us that H was a psychopath.
So, Henry WAS attached to Victor, probably mostly due to close proximity since a young age. He's a psychopath tho and probably also saw Victor as pathetic. More than likely he just didn't see a reason why he shouldn't do as he wanted and throw regular gangbangs considering he probably thought Victor would never leave him. Dude was just in it for the ride and got attached in his own fucked up way.
Now, having been split into three leaves us with a more clear idea of who Henry was. Imo, Mind is the most fascinating one and probably the most dangerous. It's Henry, with none of the love he might’ve felt for V, or the increased libido he might’ve originally had. Just pure psychopath.
Now, another interesting thought is, are they also affected by the body parts that are not Henry? What type of heart does Mind have? What about Dick and Heart?
Was I expecting a BL Harem Smut manhwa to have me analyzing shit to this level? No, but here we are.

i just spent like the last four hours re-reading and googling, and thinking abt greek mythology so I'm probs way into the weeds but here's my unhinged theories:I. The Village: A Constructed Underworld
1. Stillwater as Tartarus
No Name, No History: Like the River Lethe, the town erases memory to sustain its illusion.
Unlocked Doors: Souls in Hades cannot escape; villagers cannot hide.
Pyramid Structure: Guwon rules from the apex like Hades, while the villagers are his loyal shades.
2. The Moon-Shaped Boulder
Sisyphus’s Punishment: The boulder looms as Guwon’s eternal task—maintaining the village’s facade.
Selene’s Chariot: The moon’s cycles reflect the inescapable repetition of Stillwater’s curse.
3. The "Regular Supplies"
Ambrosia or Poison? Food may be hallucinogenic (Lotus-eaters) or corpse-stored (Hades’ pomegranates).
II. Guwon: A Composite of Damned Figures
1. Sisyphus (The Deceiver King)
Stitches = Cheating Death: Like Sisyphus tricking Thanatos, Guwon is reanimated, doomed to maintain Stillwater.
The Ring Necklace: A modern boulder, binding Jinwoo to his cycle.
2. Hades (The False Benefactor)
Fig Scent: Dionysian decay + Persephone’s trap (offering "fruit" to imprison).
"Take You on a Walk": Language of ownership, like Hades leash-tugging shades.
3. Cerberus (The Guard-Dog)
Three Children = Three Heads: Silent, watchful, and possibly not human.
Villagers as Hounds: They scatter at Guwon’s presence, conditioned to obey.
III. Jinwoo: The Orphic Rebel
1. Memory as Resistance
Splitting Headaches: Pain when recalling the past = Lethe’s curse fighting back.
The "Burglar" Lie: Implanted memory to keep him docile (like Orpheus’s doubt losing Eurydice). Like why would a burglar break into a collapsed house?
2. The Ring Necklace (Ouroboros Leaf)
Loop of Control: No beginning/end, like Sisyphus’s labor.
3. The Kiss & Vomit
False Intimacy: A test, not affection—Guwon’s body rejects living connection.
Dionysian Rot: Vomit may contain fig seeds, symbolizing his decay.
IV. The Children (666: Cursed Innocents)
1. Why All Six Years Old?
6 = Imperfection (Pythagorean numerology); 666 = Eternal Stasis.
Do they ever age? Like shades in Asphodel, maybe they’re trapped in a loop.
2. Their True Nature
Homunculi/Revenants: Made by Guwon to populate his "paradise."
Cerberus’s Heads: They guard the town’s secrets, ensuring no one questions.
V. Predictions: The Mythological Climax
1. The Boulder Will Fall
Jinwoo will climb to the moon-rock, finding names of past victims carved into it.
Its collapse will unravel Stillwater’s illusion, exposing rot.
2. Guwon’s True Form
His stitches will split open, revealing black bile or fig roots beneath.
He’ll howl like a hound when his control breaks.
3. Jinwoo’s Escape (Or Failure)
Orphic Choice: He may lead the children out (like Orpheus with Eurydice) but lose them by looking back.
Sisyphean Twist: If he stays, he replaces Guwon—doomed to maintain the cycle.
Final Interpretation: A Hell of Their Own Making
Stillwater isn’t a town—it’s Tartarus disguised as Elysium, where Guwon plays god, the children are his wards, and Jinwoo is the latest soul to roll the boulder.
Ending Hypothesis:
Tragic: Jinwoo becomes the new Sisyphus, trapped forever.
Hopeful? He shatters the Ouroboros ring, freeing himself—but the town collapses into the abyss.
(TL;DR: This isn’t a love story. It’s a burial rite.)

I don’t like spoiling things but people are misunderstanding something which is understandable but I wanna clear itThe dad isn’t homophobic, he just really wants ro be a grandfather. Yes, Adoption is an option but he wants the grandchildren to be blood related.
In the next chapter he actually gets himself all fancied up to meet Leewon’s lover but sees it’s Caesar and is in total disbelief. It’s even hilarious when he pulled out baby photos of Leewon he had in his wallet.
He’s a dad who wants the best for his son.
He doesnt want him to date someone evil and turn into a monster like Sasha and Caesar is.
This was also stated in a flashback in Side Story 1. He doesn’t want Leewon to have the lifestyle he has, he originally wanted to be with Leewon and His mother but he couldnt live the Mafia considering he’s the leader and all ( ̄∇ ̄")
