i think that even though its heavily implied yoshiki's dad liked hikaru's dad, there's no way she'd know about it no matter what. especially considering she just compared yoshiki to his dad and said she never understood either of them lol. i think this chapter was just a metaphor for yoshiki officially coming out to his mom
