I forget this is even a BL. It’s a perfectly wonderful isekai. Until the moments when he is a little too handsy with Shane, is a little too kind, and smiles a little too much and you can almost see the yandare possessive tendrils leaking out. Then he quickly slams the lid on it and it disappears before Shane has a chance to even look twice.
The seme is attracted and feels a connection to the uke because they are the same special “type” that’s probably rare as hell. That’s why he wants him to work for him and why he’s frustrated. Seme is still a dick though. It also explains why although the uke is pretty resistant, he still has sex with the seme because his subconscious is attracted to him. I’m also betting that the seme is the leader of the Pierrots and they all have loose screws. But I’m also not drinking the company koolaid yet to say that the shady company is good either. This is quite interesting so far tbh.
Lily is living her best shojo MC life and I love that for her! Escaping from kidnappers but have OP special power, finding a good found family to take her in and help her grow, cute genius ML falls for her at first sight when they’re both kids - truly an entire shojo sub plot going on. It’s amazing (▰˘◡˘▰)
This stuff is so traumatizing there’s no way a child can process it so the brain purged it from the memory as a self preservation tactic for survival.
I kind of love that for once the empress mother-in-law is on the MC’s side in these things. I find it amusing that the ML is mildly suffering because he’s being out voted by his mom and MC working together.
You can’t just adopt other people’s children without their or the child’s consent. That’s just legal kidnapping then! I’m so appalled by the purple haired family, son and father alike. The father should know that this is wrong even if the kid doesn’t. I’m glad that he’s not the ML so the MC doesn’t have to marry into that family of crazy.
