Essentially blonde girl is the only alive person working there until black bob cut girl joined. Later, black bob cut gets lured by a ghost pretending to be blonde girl and is killed (her corpse in the machine). She continues working in the factory feeling a little off but not knowing what happened and blonde girl is left as the only living person (probably cuz she can recognize ghosts)

This was a total heartbreaker to read at 2am ╥﹏╥ but I have some questions.... If max was the little pearl all along what bout the letters with miss Ariel(did max give it to her?) and cornel was the secret guard of max from the beginning? Some things I found out through the comments is that the uncle was poisoning max through the tea coz max specifically asks the butler to being another tea for Jean so that might be the reason for losing his eye sight and why did they behead wickham. Why did max deny that he wasn't little pearl???
Lady Ariel and Maximin were probably friends or had a very loyal master-vassal relationship and that's why she knew of the letters and Max probably told her to act as little pearl because Jean was ready to sacrifice his long held plans for him. Wickham worked with Jean and all but he really wasn't in it for the people. When Jean suggested bringing the church into it so they can have the common folk with them, he dismissed it saying they do not need the common folk, looking down on them. As to why he got beheaded, he probably did something that was contrary to the ideals of the revolution. Idk lol.
