My 3 shaylas im just happy that they have at least each other and they were soul mates and ofc got the happy ending they much deserved. I wasn't satisfied with the antagonists' ending bc they should've suffered more but ig it was still a bit realistic—frustrating but sometimes the world isn't just that fair. Fuck pedophiles and rapists. To think they were all the root of the main characters' sufferings, it was so heartbreaking. A lot of scenes were beautifully drawn that even without much dialogue, still delivered. Initially, when I read the unofficial translation, the seme kinda disappointed me bc I felt he wasn't doing anything (only skimmed read this initially forgive me, i was marinating this lol) but glad that I read the official ones wc shifted my POV of him, really in this world, being powerless could really make one hopeless even if you wanted to fight for something. Geom, my shayla, is so strong. It was so sad that not only in this story but in real life, a lot of adult have really let us down when they should've been the ones we can depend on and protect us. Each chapter was so heartbreaking and made it hard to go through the next chapters. Did a great thing capturing how most, if not all, men are shit. While I'm unsure if I can reread this because how this made me feel (reading this was depressing), no doubt one of the best written and created BL manhwas.
No the seme did something, though he lacked resources to help Geom because his a normal citizen without any grand master crime trump card, he did the best he can in trying to find and make a situation better.
He saved Geoms life during the end when Geom and Hong were abducted as he made a deal with rieder to save him. His calm composed attitude agaisnt rieder made rieder change his plan of killing Geom and therefore he survived.
It was very realistic for him to not consistently help Geom as a ordinary citizen cant have the capacity to actually save criminals or people involved with a gang. But instead he used his resource of rieder who he knows is involved with Geom and make a deal with him.
He’s actually a useful figure as well as yeonseo as they help Geom seek further to his goal. Keep in mind Geom already had a Geol from the start but with Wooyeon finding him in the alley made him change his plan to protect him and Yeonseo, changing his mentality as he was detached with humanity.
Honestly I can keep yapping cuz i love this story but yeah. If you dont understand something tell me PLEASE
Yes, that's why I said "initially" because i only skimmed read it and read the unofficial translation when it was still ongoing lololol Wooyeon is one of the best semes really, he loved Geom unconditionally and treated him with respect
