I'm the only hard-core yaoi fan of all my friends. I have a couple gal pals who will occasionally read BL (the sexless kind) but they are too scared to read yaoi. And then all my other anime/manga friends know i read yaoi/BL like everyday. I read in public where anyone can look at my screen and don't bother tabbing out (I think i traumatized a boy ......   reply

First manga was Beauty Pop. First Anime I can't clearly remember because it was over 20 years, but it was either Ranma 1/2, Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, YuYu Hakusho, or any of the late night Toonami animes.   reply
