She spent 10 years under abuse and she has been back for a day. Even the small change she made is actually huge since her past is actually a shadow that haunts her. I would be disappointed if she adapted too quickly since old habits die hard. I would have even appreciated it more if she was a little more cold and callous since she originally approached this life with the expectation of being alone.
