I’ve been reading manga with smut and I’ve been noticing something very jarring. Why does the FL always acts like she dislikes sex? Screaming things like, “Stop! It’s embarrassing! Don’t look at me!”. If the FL doesn’t seem into it, how are we, the reader, supposed to be? And the FL never wants the ML seeing her naked despite them having sex multiple times.
No fr I've read plenty of smut from BL, GL, and SL, and the ones from SL are the most painful to go through. Like, women have a sex drive, too. It makes it seem rapey, which is such a turn off
You’re right, it is a turn off. I can’t get into a story if the FL acts like she’s be assaulted. Which she never is! The ML is usually her boyfriend or fiancé and he always looks like he’s enjoying himself during the act. The only time the FL drops the victim act is after they’re done and she’s happy. WTF?!
definitely agree!! it becomes off putting at some point bc you can't tell if she actually enjoys it or feels obligated ╥﹏╥

Is Takaya crazy?! How does he think killing himself along with his mother is supposed to fix things? And how is it selfish asking why your mother wants to lock you away? Also, I guess in typical Japanese fashion, if they can’t handle their children being born even a little bit different, they shun or try killing them.
Yes…. I mean, I hate to sound blunt but yes it actually is very common in Japanese culture, if the child is born with any thing they find “defective” it’s common to have them killed
Heck, even if the baby is just fine if you hypothetically have twins, it was a common theory that one of the twins was actually a goblin in disguise (speaking of that there is another good manga with that ver similar premise :) )
