Idk, that ending is really rare in josei because its almost always about loyalty. Rarely do i see FLs venture out and end up with the 2nd or 3rd guy. If theyre somehow still connected to the initial love interest then that rekindles back unless theres death or cheating. But shes still taking care of him.
