This made me remember "Dark Heaven", in a somewhat softer version but still super well written and portrayed. A bit sad it was such a short read! ("Short"... I binged it from midnight to 4am lolz NO REGRETS.) Would have loved a continuation of some sort + the other team members developments + more backstory of each of them, because I'm sure they didn't have it easy!
Nowadays it's so hard to find strong characters + their development. Definitely a 10/10! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Tbh I'm more with Joowoon, like I kinda feel bad for him lol. Analyse it from a real perspective, when you act like that and everything, it is pretty obvious that you like each other, it's natural to "provoke" each other sometimes too (well, they are taking it too far and for too long, and in this aspect I absolutely agree with you all). Even when Haesoo's mom found them out, what could you have said? "Yes, we are dating Ms.Lee?" That's really far stretched, consider the situation and the emotional state you are in, it's more likely you'll deny it. Although knowing Haesoo, Joowoon should've said those three important words "I like you", but even then, would he have believed him? Probably not either, Haesoo doesn't take Joowoon's words seriously. Their relationship has reached a point where they really need to distance themselves from one another, especially Haesoo, since he's tends to overanalyze things and then hang upon to some details that others wouldn't even consider, unfortunately there is a miscommunication going on for too long. Taku, on the other hand, is perfectly fit, he comes between them just at the right time. He's super straightforward, something that is lacking in his relationship with Joowoon. Taku said all the things he wanted to hear from Joowoon, lowering his defence barrier and making him aware of his emotions. Taku is basically screaming "all the cards are open on the table, you have the upper hand of the situation, I'm at your mercy, just so you know I like you, lots." I really like all of the characters, I just don't get why Joowoon gets all the hate, lol. In my unpopular opinion, both Joowoon and Haesoo are at fault.

Well, for me, it's things like Joowon saying don't fall for me, like he did when they were younger, and then turning around and treating Haesoo like his possession. But I do agree that Joowon cannot be the only culpable one here, it's both of them. I just find Joowon kind of abusive and inconsiderate towards someone he claims to know very well. They absolutely need to be away from each other for a long time. Haesoo's overthinking and anxiety will be the death of him, and Joowon is a major contributor. And Joowon needs a dose of reality; he needs to realize, like Haesoo already has, that this current relationship is incredibly unhealthy and unnecessarily painful. Haesoo choosing to meet Taku over staying with Joowon is a step in the right direction for me.

Thank you for posting your point of view and analysis! I really wanted to know what the reading community thought about this, especially since I really love how the author portraits their extremely complicated relationship and character. The problem with Joowoon is that he probably doesn't realize how much anxiety he is provoking to Haesoo, which is real bad, and if he knows that is even worse. But seeing Haesoo starting to feel shaken by Taku and slowly moving on is a good thing for him. Let's see what happens next! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

This was one hell of a binge read. And I tell you folks that it is SO DAMN WORTH THE READ! I got to admit that the beginning got me pretty bored, I thought it would be the usual plot/trope but holy moly if I was wrong! (I had actually read it a long time ago before but thought it wouldn't be that interesting) I won't spoil anything to you guys but this really needs to be read, I really liked how the MC developed throughout the whole thing, the way of thinking of every character and how everyone was weak, fragile and easily corrupted; they were all miserable yet authentic. I think that some issues weren't that fully explained/given closure (like for example the little sister thing later on), but overall this was a really good read. I'm a sucker for well done, not mainstream stories! <3

I have NEVER EVER CRIED while reading a manga/manhua/manhwa, never. Not until reading this piece of art. Tears just fell down on their own, it is so bittersweet that my heart swells up everytime I read it. (/TДT)/
Tbh I'm really fascinated by all the characters, especially in Gale, I honestly have really high expectation from him.
I honestly thought this was your typical shoujo high school romance and even thought: “what could have even happened to Lisa to make her like this” + the roll eye. As the story progressed I mentally punched my past me because I honestly didn’t expect it to be a story about abuse and r^pe. It felt so painful reading her story and seeing how real it was portrayed, especially when the real life narrative is excruciatingly frustrating for sexual survivors. I loved how each character grew throughout each arch, and would have loved to see more story development revolving also her grandmother, whom should’ve been lawfully punished. The panel where she minimised the abuse her granddaughter suffered made my blood boil!!!
I’m glad they all got a happy ending and that Lisa was healing and breaking the vicious cycle!
