Damn I wouldn't say it's a bad story but it's also not good. It's way too focused only on the uke. It's the stupid trope where the uke uses to seme, tossed him away and then notices that he actually needs him and just expects him to be there again for him. Typical Pushover trope I hate that trope.
I would say its a bad story because of too many frustrating things happening for no reason.
Jiho was raped while Yujun was on the phone, then the next day Jiho talks to his rapist like its not big deal. And he tells himself he will tell Yujun everything, but then he goes to his father without telling Yujun.
Like why was Jiho living with his crazy ex tp begin with ? And why is the author saying Jiho loved Yujun the whole time he was away even though Jiho himself was actually craving the affection of his ex for the whole 6 years
Because that’s exactly how someone who is mentally unstable and deeply traumatized would act and that’s the whole point of the narrative. His immature behavior and the way he hurts the people around him stem directly from his trauma and emotional instability. It doesn’t excuse his actions, but the author is portraying them in a very realistic and grounded way. But some of y'all are way too thick headed to get that.
No. We are not too thick headed. This is just plain bad writing. When I read the summary I thought "great I'll get inti a story were both if them are problematic" but it's just another one of those pushover + red flag stories. And the way the author portrays him is not realistic- whatever happened to him with his parents is just an excuse for him to be toxic.
I mean at this point then as long as its hurting people and creating more drama, everything Jiho does = the artist portraying mental instability and trauma.
Anywau, Jiho dating someone else for 6 years isnt something bad at all. But then why is the author tries to give the narrative that Jiho loved Yujun the whole time ?
And we can see Jiho's thoughts and it is clear that he dont give a fuck about Yujun"s feelings. The only thing he cares about is not losing Yujun because that benefits him, but he really dont give a thought about how Yujun is hurt. That isnt love. And yet the author is pushing the idea that Jiho loves Yujun.
If it was aknoledge that Jiho dont love Yujun and only clings to him because he is now at the end of his rope, I wouldnt call it a bad story (even though i still wouldnt like it). But right now, i call it bad story because i personally think it doesnt make any sense.
I’m not sure if y'all have ever seen how a genuinely traumatized person behaves, but based on the reactions, it doesn’t seem like it. What you’re seeing in the story is actually a realistic portrayal of how relationships with traumatized individuals can unfold. They often don’t fully understand their own actions and can be extremely indecisive.
Again i’m not excusing what he did, but this is how he’s meant to be written. He’s a deeply flawed character, and it’s disappointing that some of you can’t see the depth of that characterization.
I’m not going to argue further, because I know it won’t change your mind. All I’ll say is, if you truly feel the writing is bad, it may be better to stop reading the story. Constant complaints don’t help anyone.
Wow am I the only one that genuinely feels the writing is good, the way the story portrays Jiho’s character is amazing, we can really see the effects of his trauma, I feel like we’ve already gone through Yoojoon’s story (unfortunately there’s not much to go off) but the relationship between the two is pretty complex (and not at the same time).
Maybe the story just isn’t for you idk
Because I sort of am seeing Mangago as an open Therapy place for me to process everything that has ever happened to me I will now touch on something embarrassing that happened to me in 10th grade back in 2017/2018
So to explain in germany just like in Asia every class has their own classroom and only rarely change their room for a class. So me and a guy friend of mine had ethics class cuz we didn't want to go to Christian class. The ethics class was in the 7th Grade classroom who were having PE during that time.
Okay so we were in that class and my guy friend told me I should draw him a naked anime boy with cat ears that was handcuffed and I just drew it because it was funny has hell..... until my guy friend accidentally left that paper in that classroom. LISTEN it wouldn't even have been a problem if it weren't for that case that we were doodling on that paper and it had our names written on it
Okay so I have this OC alter ego that is basically me if I were a man and whenever I find an actor, model or celebrity in general that I find handsome I be writing fanfics that are only for myself about my alter ego charming these guys and them falling in love with me and then they are like my bottoms and I be making them scream in all the good ways. Most of these fanfics have like 60k+ words.
My last big obsession was Matt Damon when he was young (if ykyk) and you bet I wrote all them things down like I had to.
I have them saved on this usb stick that I keep in a box underneath my bed. Been doing this since my earliest teen years.
Do I have to apply for visa to visit that dick?
