You really shouldn't push yourself to read something based on other people's enjoyment. If you find it boring then it's boring and I don't think you'd miss out on anything just because other people hype it up. I found it boring too and I dropped it a long time ago. I still see people say good things but I know it's not for me so I just move along ╮(￣▽￣)╭

If something doesn't appeal to you it's best to just drop it tbh. I personally dropped it because it just wasn't for me. When something gets really popular and people praise it so much it might feel like you're missing out if you don't keep up with it but forcing yourself to read something you don't like would be a waste of time. You're not missing out.

You can drop it, personally I don't like majorly cus of the artstyle because why tf Is everyone there paper skin white and it's also boring nonetheless

i havent kept up w updates in a while. i dont think its the most boring thing ever but it def doesnt intrigue me that much lol. the plot (or the authors attempt at it) doesnt do much for me, neither does andrews freakish alien cock and body. i think ppl hype it up because the art + charas are very very pretty and they're both "green flag" (tho andrew rly isnt but to a lot of ppl green flag just means someones not a rapist, which couldnt be less true but thats a whole different conversation). still i agree w the other commenters, dont force urself to read smth even if u already know u dont like it. a lot of my favorite stories dont appeal to a lot of ppl simply because they hit a certain target demographic or niche. its fine for works to not appeal to everybody.

aww yall i didn’t expect these replies to be so nice lmao but i just get the most extreme fomo when it comes to BL’s that everyone else enjoys and im shocked that many people feel the same way about nerd project. i really thought that my attention span was getting worst and that’s why i didn’t enjoy it lol
