I wanna theorize that maybe the stuff about bro wanting to fall in love and boombayah with the vampire dude could be his dads memory, and after he died he harbored a lot of hate and obsession after death that it unintentionally placed a curse on his son to make him act like that. Pretty much prevents the son from killing him because of those thoughts.
