I’ve read the novel not too long ago and while I did think the chasing arc was a bit long I think the jump from 71 to 72 is kinda crazy, it made me confused about how it got to that point cause they didn’t figure out Jin was in South America until like later.
I have to say the chasing arc gets crazier than this, personally I didn’t like the chasing arc that much because in the novel Jin couldn’t make up his freaking mind and put his foot down. While yes he made the choice to join Haechang to keep his distance from Adante, he was still getting played by Haechang…he’s just getting taken advantage of left and right… I know Jin has some trauma but for once I really wanted him to do something for himself instead of what other people were telling him to do so I kept getting frustrated.
It took another 20-30 so chapters for Jin and Adante to kinda be together but even that didn’t feel satisfying idk. I really do like the plot and Jin himself is a character that has trauma and I guess me being frustrated is part of the reason why it’s feels emotionally driven, maybe it’s in a good way idk.
