Oh I get you, I got so scared of the direction they were going and was fully prepared to leave this manga if it went how I thought it went. But I'm so happy they actually went about it really beautifully. I thought it was gonna be so iffy, and gross, but I'm surprised they were able to turn that around!
This manga condemns the kind of marriage it shows in the beginning, both the king and the omega are victim to the circumstances that was brought to them. Ilya was forced to come to Hanu to be the queen, and was extremely surprised to see how young the king was, which made him even more disgusted with how low they see him as because they'd go as far as throw him away and marry a king that is a child

It gets... soooooo much worse like i knew park sion was deranged but as of the novel. This is TAME in comparison.
To keep things ambiguous and short he crashes tf out on quite literally everyone. Tries to stab green hair with a fountain pen. Beats the living shi out of shin jeayoung aka secret helper and puts him in hospital to which out main character is quite obviously pissed and also hits him on the back of the head with a chair and punches him repeatedly whilst sion is chocking mc which all started because he didn't want to sit next to sion and decided to sit next to jeayoung as a way to get sion off his back... it HEAVILY backfired.
Um he... sighhh. Yes officially sion is a hugeeeee pitch BLACK flag and honestly him being a yandere + deranged kid due to his fd up family yhh i saw this coming.
