so heres my take; I think jk doesn’t know how to love kd. He’s never had love nor been loved before so he doesn’t know how to handle it or reciprocate it. By no means is that an excuse for jk but i genuinely think that jk needs to learn to love others and himself before he can even try to think about him being with and loving kd. jk is a fighter and not a lover. literally.
