I thought it would take the classic route of 'falling in love with the k*ller' or smth like that, but I was surprised that it wasn't romanticized and that the protagonist's feelings were somewhat realistic to his situation.
Bc the Korean language itself didn't really tell you what Nanjo liked (I think author purposely added ambiguity to it). Although "I like it" is correct in that context. It's just that Mok got excited by himself and expanded the meaning to "I like you."
I'm not surprised bc that's how they've shown Loren to us, not (so) sane, apathetic, and with questionable behaviors, I just hope Ryan doesn't let it go so easily lol I think they'll have that dynamic ( ̄∇ ̄")
