This chapter just aint it. I understand that this story is about Byul but it felt like that issue -which was a huge deal for Hyesung- just got swept under the rug and was used as plot device just to have a development between the main characters. Its not like I don’t want the conflict to be resolved but why the hell is Dojin scot-free from the consequences of his actions that spanned for years of doing something behind his omega’s back despite knowing his trauma? Thats where most of my issue lies

They changed what was written in the novel. This is completely unsatisfying for me as a reader because wdym her redemption arc is this short. She fucking killed tons of people and that family tortured their youngest sister and this is the only karma she gets? Just because she got defeated and cried tears then shes given grace? Nah man this is bullshit.

[ so for some goddam reason yuya thought they could write a better story than the author and then fucked it up. Like wtf. You mean to tell me that lakias forgavemarriane? The same lakias that gave his life for alyssa and loved her so much he was willing to die and did die to repent to alyssa and his last thoughts were about alyssa? The same lakias who even in the brainwashing could tell the wrong feeling he got whenever he was with marriane? You mean to tell me that he just forgave marriane and hugged her as she died(manhwa)?The same lakias who swore to heaven and hell that a demon like marianne was never ever gonna be his sister, he died hugging her telling her that he will HER brother till the end? Not only that but logic seems to encompasss yuya because they fucked up the entire backstory for marianne. Like no she did not have golden eyes and silver hair that in its entirety belonged to alyssa because she was destined to summon luminas in both lives. The only reason marrianne manipulated everyone about the appearnce change was because she was jealous of the title of saint alyssa had because not only was she genuinly pious and helpful regarding her cirizens, white hair and golden eyes were a symbol of royalty and sainthood.And ofcourse yuya had to change the entire thing for her beloved marriane because in the novel it was explicitly stated that golden eyes and silver hair were a sign of saintlyhood and royalty but nooo when logic was being distributed yuya was standing with a strainer because for some reason now it was only a symbol of nobility and not royalty. ]
