I feel bad for Taejun, this was a horrible ending for him. I agree. I’m honestly really upset that taejun and taeoh didn’t combine because i genuinely thought they would just combine qualities. I’m annoyed that MC basically guilt tripped taejun into keeping taeoh even though i understand he got attached to both of them. This isn’t surprising based on how they met, but I’m glad they stuck with it. He’s not a “good” person and that’s what makes him interesting, if they watered him down for romantic ease this wouldn’t be nearly as riveting to read. My fave story in a while
I’m fine with toxic yaoi and enjoy it more often than not, but Eunsung is the most dislikable mf ever. He literally has no redeeming qualities and the shoddy excuse for his profession after the fate of his own brother just made it worse. Him and the idiot of a MC deserve each other.
I hope the second love interest finds someone deserving of his affections on that trip because that lazy attempt at villainizing him is not working on me. And most of all, shout-out Doyoon and his bf because they deserve the best. Only things I can commend this mess for as a gay man is the bar guys, the art style, and the rare depiction of homophobia in one of these stories being narratively refreshing, but they handled it terribly and chose to give the short end of the stick to the men who were actually standing for something regarding the topic in favor of a piece of trash lmao
