I hope they both find happiness. Even if the big guy look happy, he really isn’t.
Re-reading this makes Eckles’ betrayal hurt even more.
I agree, Remi is only kind to others because that is something Emi would do. Remi would constantly uses this as an excuse that I personally think she’s lying to herself that she was truly a bad person and just wearing a mask of disguise but in deep down, it wasn’t just Emi’s projection for Remi but Remi might have not realized that she have her own ways of being kind. Sure it was thanks to Emi that she changed for better but that Remi only think that being kind is just another manipulation tactics of hers to get revenge. Not to mention, Remi didn’t live as the Og villain from the game, she only saw it from Emi’s memories of the Og game, which meant that she was never corrupted from the start. BUT! She only started acting corrupted, after Emi fell into despair, to avenge her. She have to be wicked like the Og villain but in my point of view, Remi is a SHEEP IN WOLVE’S CLOTHING. Remi is not completely honest about her feelings and even sees the demon lord as the same level as the other people she needed to plot her plans. However as the story progresses, she had accepted the demon king’s proposal, even though her love is not the same as his(Demon king’s love is pure while her is tainted with ulterior motives) she then genuinely promised happiness for him. This suggests that the demon king have a special place in Remi’s heart though it’s not the same level for Emi, we can’t deny the fact that Remi was deeply touched by the Demon king’s words which would sound so impossible if its not from Emi. The demon king is not just random pawn but someone who stands out from Remi’s eyes, which revealed the real Remi, who is not just Emi’s version or that thick armour she wears for revenge.
Remi doesn’t love the demon king, but she love the part when he loves the Emi version. Since Remi technically wants to be a family with Emi, then creating a child would be the home for Emi’s soul. The demon king was just a the perfect candidate for it. Remi is just amazingly disturbing, they well portrayed a pure villain that would give the whole world to their loved ones, without straying away from their real nature up until the very end.
Let’s be honest, author makes the most interesting plot, just like from their previous work.
I MUST CONFESS…I skip reading this, i only read the part where theres interaction between Abel and his majesty. I’m waiting for this to be completed before fully digesting every plot details
There might some serious consequences for keeping grandpa alive. I mean one life for another right? Not to mention that divine snake fell in love to the bottom, so he might as well sacrifice himself for his happiness (which is being with his grandpa) and the divine snake is not technically needed after the children are born, after all the kids was part of the ‘contract’, to save the forest. ; __;
I dont think things are gonna end up well for the divine snake and the bottom might be too late to fix it.
I love angst.
It’s funny how we gaslight ourselves thats theres theres a ray of hope of the Top being a greenflag…I mean—we didn’t see the top’s perspective yet or maybe the doc is lying
