Her letter says all the regret and yet another opportunity has passed by and you watch him being attacked and attacking with a closed mouth, but just keep watching.... Idk if you’re also seeing the part where he’s not mentally present like at all? She tried talking to him but he literally can’t hear anything but the voice in his head. If anything, her throwing herself to protect the guy was the only opportunity to get through him.
She says his name and that she wrote him letters. She could nvr just say I love you. No telling if he would have heard that. He didn't hear but he also didn't attack her. Nvr hurt to say all the embarrassing things she couldn't say in person. She nvr tries everything. Might not have worked, but it might too...
It's not that we don't love the story it's that we are trying our hardest to keep loving it. I don't think Satoko should go along with his killing; however, she isn't being fair. Everyone else around her is killing, maybe not w their own hands, but it's still happening and aimed at him. He's trying g to save her and she's vacillating between saving her family and Mitsuhara.
Shinpei is in front of her being attacked, half dead and she's yelling about the people trying to kill him if they are ok????
She's upset he's fighting back instead of staying prisoner or just letting them kill him???
She shouldn't have made promises to him she wasn't prepared to keep or loved him knowing what he is.
Shebis asking if they arevok because she doesn't want innocents to get hirt but neither for Shinpei to keep killing, if he does he is gping deeper and deeper in his insanity and I'm sure thats what she fears, that she can't save or help him anymore
Innocents??? They are assassin's hired by her now fiance. They are literally slashing and killing him... Who the hell are the innocents she's concerned with in this situation. He's not attacking he was attacked and is being killed and is fighting back to be with her and she's asking about the people literally holding swords on a swordleas man. Not sad Khalid is gone. Worst delulu person ever... I think it wasn't Estelle or Duke Heint that killed him. I think it was one of the other guys she used to be with. I think they had Estelle's back and maybe heard about what she was doing with the war. I think Duke Heint is the one tied up with the rags who was beside her and she doesn't know.
Someone once mentioned that Anika (Estelle's subordinate) was an archer so maybe she was the one.
This is literally stressing me. I love Shinpei.. I know he's screwed up, but he was trying! Trying hard and then it got all screwed up. Sakoto is a little disappointing. I mean she's between a rock and a hard place but it looks like she's feeling Mitsuharu. Idk why she's trying so hard for people who nvr loved her and she's dying, but not as hard for Shinpei. After all the deep plot and angst and self loathing and torture.. It's just oh he's gonna die and he really felt bad.. I love him... I dont get it. I mean I understand you want to make some resolution but this was beyond disappointing.

I think I will have an unpopular view, but she didn't make Wilhelm how he was. He was already messed up from his first life. She showed him love and gave him a better life, but he got greedy and overly jealous all on his own. Enough to want to kill his competition... She didn't do that.. He was always warped even without her.
I don't agree with how she used the child, however I can understand how broken she was and it wasn't easy for her to love the child. She was constantly abandoned or betrayed and she gave her everything to Wilhelm. You don't come out of that normal and unbroken. Then having to deal with having Dietrich, who had been her rock, best friend and maybe more comeback to her but broken and doesn't even know her and loves someone else. She can't even go to him and be happy or feel he can share her pain like he could before.. She really had nothing.... So yes I can understand how things ended up how they did.
I hope she leaves him behind and let's him rot in his own mental hell he has made for himself. She might not ever be happy, but she doesn't have to be torn apart anymore and can maybe move on.
Finally someone who is sensible. Btw, by "maybe more" is basically family to her. She once had a small crush on him in her childhood. But growing up together under the care of her father they were family. Her only family alive. So, of course, it'll affect her badly if the man she loves leaves her only family to die in cold blood.

Nope he got his memory back when he went to war so she met a child with a memory of a child without any education...so he just learn how what he learn from her: be loyal to his master and got to attached because he nether really experienced what affection is...so he got like that because he didn't have good adult near him... don't forget that he was the only one without education since the beginning

Even if her plan had been to use him. She was extremely caring to him. And let's not forget he wasn't educated but wasn't an idiot. He learned very fast and was already 16 when she found him. So no she didn't give him everything he needed but she definitely showed him affection. And we are talking about the hormonal changes a 16 yr old will go through. Although she saw him as a child he never her saw her as less than someone he wanted and no matter how nice Dietrich was he always resented that she cared for him. And his memories were back and he still killed him.. So not sure why you say he had no education.

Like - Now it's getting weirder for me to get into it cause that woman who looks like his sister might be a potential love interest or somebody who likes him. Khalid was more than crazy, but she had to understand why he KILLED her and made sure he got to live?? Whatever.... Not my taste... Thoroughly enjoyed the story to a point then just went a bit off the rails for me... Disappointed
