Do you think the term scanlated will be a thing of the past? Considering some mangas are now digital. Or will the japanese persist on comic releases? Korean manhwas are digital anyway so they're just translations

Right? I just read a new manhwa and the translation note said that it was their first time scanlating. I was taken aback by the term. It's been a while since I've seen people use it lol
Personally I look at the term scanlating as the whole process of cleaning/redrawing/typesetting/quality checking as well as translations. So for me it still applies.
