Just binged this and damn I just needa vent rn cuz omg I literally cannot with the mls. It’s been a while since I’ve read a story this angsty and frustrating to the point of tearing up. I feel so bad for the mc. He’s been traumatized hard. His abandonment issues have really fudged him up and although he seems mentally strong at the beginning we later see it’s really just a facade he has put up to deal with his trauma. I can relate to that avoidant trait and ig that’s why it hits so close to home seeing him gradually break down throughout the story. It also makes me despise the mls so much more cuz of how they take advantage of him. I saw spoilers that said they have a threesome after meeting again and that just made me even more depressed. I really wished there was a different outcome and Ik the story is still ongoing but it just felt like a punch in the face. While reading this I just kept getting the ick seeing the interactions between the characters. I was leaning towards yoojoon a bit more at the beginning I admit but that later dwindled quickly. I usually have more favoritism towards the 1st mls in these types of stories but this time I liked eunsong as well. He was interesting and had a lot of depth to his character so I was hoping he would be better but unfortunately he was equally as selfish and terrible. Everyone and everything was just aggravating and I wished this whole story had just been a backstory to jihyuk in another manhwa where he found someone better far away from those two.
yeah the characters acted selfish even the mc in a way but that's what made them go beyond than just stereotypes. I mean author could've written them as total jerks but their reason and awareness made them feel like real people. You too surely have done something so wrong in the past right? because there's times we act selfish and at that moment we think our "reason" is valid but is it? That's why I can say the characters have that human thinking and emotion.
Oh I don't like complicated stuff but more like complex story that makes sense and have a really fun way of portraying characters. Tho it got lotsa flaw but that flaw is exactly so alike to people irl I mean look at MC, clearly got psychological issues and instead of facing it he tends to run away by distracting himself with seksual pleasure. He felt Comfort when touching others and vice versa. Fun fact seks can indeed relieve stress and even depression for some people.

Oh ye dw all open for discussions! Thx for sharing ur thoughts (=・ω・=) and I agree for sure this is one of the stories with more complex characters. Their questionable decisions make them more realistic at times cuz many ppl in real life can be just as irrational too. Maybe that’s why I’m also so frustrated cuz we have an omniscient pov on all their motivations. I can recognize everyone acted in a way as a result of their past trauma and own desperation. However I still dislike the two mls as they def crossed the line of respect with mc more than just once
So the story is about mc who goes back in time somehow to when he was a high schooler as a closet gay but had a thing for his friend and his friend also had a thing for him. When he goes back in time, he decides to just date his friend? but like in the present time before he time traveled, they weren’t in contact anymore? Also in high school they were in the track club I think but then mc got an injury or something and couldn’t run properly anymore so he stopped going to practice?

I read it on here but now i can't seem to find it and i don't remember the title. I swear i put in in my reading list but maybe i didnt. I think it was by the author of Stalker's Game too. Anyways, the manhwa is about mc who was always second to ml in highschool and thats all i know really lol. There were only like 2 chapters out or so. I read the raws and from what i could get from it, mc is like a writer and ml is a painter(?) post high school. Mc wanted to get back at ml and tried to blackmail him by recording them having sex and from there they kind of became sex buddies? Idk lol.

Don’t get me wrong I love me a character like woori but it’s hard to read rn when it’s obvious that danwoo and taehan are endgame Ig it’s just a little off putting to me cuz it’s like seeing these main characters get cucked lmao even tho no one is actually committed to each other yet. At first it seemed like woori was gon have a small 2nd lead role to stir up maybe sum jealousy and taehan hadn’t yet established that he wasn’t interested in a relationship so I really didn’t think the story would delve more into this love triangle but I also shouldn’t be surprised lol. Hopefully there isn’t too much drama tho cuz I don’t think my heart can handle another full on angsty back and forth love story. Had enough of that with will the roasted beans sprout so I shall wait for this to cook more.
I know it’s so obvious who’s gonna be endgame but I’m acc begging for the author to switch it up and make Woori endgame, maybe Taehan could get back with that other hookup they dropped idk. Why can’t manga authors ever choose the healthier options don’t gays have enough suffering as is
