it doesn’t necessarily need to be metal, tetanus toxoid is given if the skin got an open wound. since the bite broke the skin its gonna be necessary to give tetanus toxoid for the first session as well. but if he has a shot for the last five years then just the rabies shot and antibiotics
You’re right, both rabies and tetanus need to be checked after a bite. I was mainly thinking about rabies first since it’s more urgent, but of course tetanus is also important depending on vaccination status :))
