The reason this story is going "so slowly" is because it's psychological as well! The mind games and trauma is being shown from multiple perspectives so the reader gets an even more sense of suspence when reading each new chapter. It's intentional. And it's invredibly well made.
If this were a normal romance, don't you think we would have seen a bit more color? Everytime there is more color on the pages, it matches with their mood and feelings...but most of it is dark and gray, why do you think?
Just let the story progress for a few months, then come back to it and maybe you'll have less to complain about.

They only like it when there's actual fed up shit being shown...like dark romance...which this isn't really it...it's a lot more realistic than we believe. Just imagine spending 13 years with a man that cheated. It's the reality of SOOOO many people!

People on this website are just used to reading the garbage rape filled manhuas on this website to the point they can't read between the lines and expect every story to be black and white

Not bad. Their chimestry is good and I'm glad the FL is warming up to the guy. This is pretty rare as they take 40 chapters to warm up to the idea usually, lol.
Interesting story-line. ML seems like a bit of a freak so I hope they end up doing things in a consentual way... But luckily, he doesn't seem like the ML in "Absolute Threshold" so we good :D
The only reason I managed to continue reading was because I wanted to see their babies. Other than that...I wouldn't recommended if you're not ready to shut your brain off or ignore all the SA happening in this story...

Been so long since I read such a fun story with this trope. The FL did nit hold back and I absolutely adored that. The ML was simply an accessory for her future but it worked out so well. I'm glad I binged this.

Read this many years ago, I always forgot the plot so I finally binged it for the romance aspect. Man, gotta love a man obsessed with his wife. Besides that, this story is so well thought-out. Every decision made in early chapters come in handy in later ones. It's soooo well thought. The pacing is great, the character arcs are great.
I'm excited to where it's going. So much in store!
