Considering dropping it at ch 23. It feels like the author made someone she hates in real life into a main character of this horrible, overdramatic, cruel story just to make her suffer.

Like, I don’t know what the FL presumably did in the past to deserve to be at the receiving end of that psychotic revenge, but it seriously couldn’t have been THAT bad. She came from an abusive household, had an emotionally manipulative mother, fell for a guy that she had to leave because of said mother - and now she has some bitch on her back that she only met once but she’s trying to literally drive her to her death. All of that for what? What kind of fucking sob story is that psychotic bitch going to have to “excuse” this behavior? And that husband of hers??? Jesus fucking christ, he ruined one woman’s life and decided to leech onto another, just to cheat on her. And somehow felt like he was in the right cause his father abused him so boohoo don’t want kids with my family’s blood. He wanted a strong woman to stand her ground unlike his mother so he picked one and chose to ruin her. Motherfucker, if your whole life revolves around not wanting to continue your father’s bloodline then maybe don’t go around spraying your genetic material around and keep it in your fucking pants? AND YOU’RE TELLING ME THAT THIS MF GETS TO RECEIVE FLs “HELP” AND “PROTECTION”?????? What is it, he actually deserves everything that’s happening to him but he gets to be taken care of and forgiven? When no one was there for FL and she had to pick herself up, even though her only crime was loving a man? AND she still blames herself for everything and stops herself from putting it on others? JFC those japanese authors really seem to hate their female main characters. There’s something so inherently misogynistic in the way they are written.
Also, I get that the brother of MLs ex wife wanted to get his revenge on that MF for abandoning his wife and kid. But why did he almost drive to suicide another woman in the process? You’re acting exactly the same way that the guy you tried to take the revenge on - ruining an innocent woman’s life and driving her to despair for your own selfish goal.
