Here’s my thoughts regarding this manhwa. YES, it is surely draining because of the ANGST.
For Aerik, he is a character that relies on “principles & dignity” I think in the first chapters he was giving a sense of “responsibility” towards Miesa since he is her wife after all. I get that, so far he is very self aware of his actions but I think he is still processing how he feels about Miesa. But I empathize with him so much. His sense of responsibility not only falls upon Miesa but also his family and his countdom. I hope my boy gets to breathe and choose his OWN happiness.
Miesa on the other hand, I GET IT that she has pent-up trauma, abuse and anxiety in her. It makes it hard for her to communicate her thoughts especially when she only relied on her mind to work for YEARS. However, it makes me sad that she is aware of the sacrifices Aerik has to do yet she is not openly acknowledging it. I hope in the next chapters she could grow and have her own backbone and finally tell Aerik everything. I hope she sees that Aerik is doing the best he can to keep her and she makes she stays with him. It takes two to tango after all.

Idk but the story is great and all but the angst and pure annoyance of Ariadne’s family makes me want to skip some chapters. Also, that Lariessa gurlie is so twisted it also makes me want to skip chapters. I want my Ari and A to see each other again please!
