I'm confused as well, but a lot of people seem to think he deceives MC... my initial reaction was like what if he threw up after MC left to not hurt his feeling? Maybe his body can't receive love or whatever... I'm not giving up yet... I'm not ready for angst, everything went so well T^T ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
