The only thing I hate about this is there’s no extra chapters for Qiming and yan ci’s daily life and also qingshan and wei xixing. I dont know why I am so hook with those two even tho they only showed a little of interactions.
I may not be good identifying all their names at first but as I read further I can somehow understand and ppint put who is who. You just have to read carefully and understand! I am glued to my phone reading this for weeks (since I need to go to work) and yes, I am in love with the story. To the people who recommended this story for me, I cant thank you enough. I love this very much. I was in the edge of my seat. I cried for the characters. All along I keep pinpointing who the villain is, but heck the author must make me confuse and stumble me on my seat.
Plus I am also fascinated and curious about peking opera. It’s amazing to find this kind of story with action and great plot. Now I’m lacking couple’s scene. I want them so bad. I wanna see more of them after all the things they experienced.
My heart is full and yes I will definitely reread this masterpiece.
Curious to see what story you want to read for the first time if you can turn back time ‘cause it’s too good. I’m bored and I dont have any idea what to read. I honestly want yaoi/shounen ai alone ‘cause I tried reading other genre but I’m not feeling it.

omg let’s trade recs. This is very similar to bws imo, plot heavy, side characters are developed, childhood friends to enemies to lovers, and the ml reminds me of Yan ci quite a bit. This is my fav bl of all time (bws is a close 2nd lol), I can’t recommend it enough.

its not a webcomic its a novel but like i promise you, on my knees i promise you its good. The official blurb is also so bad for no reason, but it's abt a 1400 yo evil spirit that wakes up in the modern world and gets taken to the police section by a random dude that doesn't believe in any supernatural stuff at all. They then end uo working together for a company that handes supernatural incidents
