Though the trope light and dark portrayed in that way (white/blonde:dark-skinned/brunette) is tired and personally I don’t like it, but this story’s theme is more on beauty is in the eye of beholder. The characters and relationships in this manhwa is extremely nuanced it’s crazy. They all so fleshed out and realistic. I feel him bro. And I see her pov all the way, without the context of his anxiety and trauma, from his family, he comes across as not being present while she tries so hard to show she’s there and trying. To the point she ends up overcompensating. AND TO HIM, is came across as conditional affection, which in turn reminds him of his father, taking out all his pent up emotions and frustration on her (since he saw him in the way she spoke to him.) This manhwa is literal gold. AND SOMEONE GET UYUN A DAMN BRA!
