wtf was that chapter?? why did she meet sung jinwoo so early???? and then he happened to inspire her????? that seems like even worse writing than the way she was written in the original manhwa (and i say this with love, i adore solo leveling but the side characters were done dirty)
also she was the ninth korean s-rank to awaken (she awakened 2 years prior to when sung jinwoo reawakened iirc which is why she wasn’t at the jeju raid), not the fifth so idfk where that came from in this either?? at least be accurate to the source material with your facts if you’re going to make her even more of a stereotype (specifically referring to the part where sung jinwoo ‘inspires’ her while he’s still an e-rank… that’s somehow even worse and more tropey to me than her getting to know him after he became an s-rank and falling in love then) (also the valkyrie thing. wtf was that.)
maybe i js complain too much but that chapter in specific pmo real bad chairman go gunhee’s chapter wasn’t too bad (though it doesn’t make sense how gates were unregulated for FIVE years… two max maybe but FIVE?? maybe i’m js a hater though) & the chapters with the japanese hunters were actually pretty good, don’t have any complaints there (though the oni girl was a lil odd but i’ve already complained too much)
also ik this is for the solo leveling game but the fact they’re incorrect with sm annoyed me to the extent of writing this and i practically never write comments so take that as you will
This manga got similarities yet the plot is quite different from each other. My Fav! This is in a random order. I will update in as I come across more similar manga which I like.
