so basically, black haired dude’s planned “ending” to their story is a duo suicide. to celebrate the ending of their pretend story, he invites over the redhead and drugs him. he takes all of them into his basement, where he has 2 nooses and plans to use them on himself and on the mc. seems he specifically wants to do it in front of the redhead. this is all homage to his dead mother, basically. mc is revolted by this, but he was still smart enough to prepare a pocket knife so he was able to cut himself loose. still, he’s actually in love with the black haired one so he prevents him from hanging himself, and they send the redhead off with an ambulance.
i can’t read kr so i don’t know specifically what came over the black haired guy but it seems he now REALLY sees the mc as his savior, still wants to stay with him forever. mc is genuinely horrified, angry, in complete anguish. he runs to their basement, to i guess grab a weapon (the hammer). he swings it at black haired guy but he’s stopped. while they hug, the mc pushes the black haired guy backward and he falls and hits his head, rlly bad. redhead reappears bc he’s awake again and wants to rescue the mc. he finds the mc with bloody hands, and the black haired guy is half-dead. or dead? idk. i think he died.
so it seems like it is a “positive” ending, because the mc ultimately is free and with the man he originally loved, but he’s so traumatized about the black haired guy that he continues having nightmares about him. he also starts drawing the same image we see the black haired guy imagine him as, and then he’s hallucinating that the black haired guy is in front of him. that’s all so far.

I mean honestly it was obvious from the very beginning Mc wouldn’t end up with black hair ? This is a story about manipulation and Stockholm syndrome, many times it showed that Mc is not in his right mind and he even say it and throughout it all we have red hair setting it straight and calling out Mc’s traumatized behavior. It was obvious this wouldn’t be a love story ahah
