Unlike the title says this is not actually about transgender people. The main character's crush catched an illness that makes them suddently switch sex (and gender with time).
SPOILER: it ends up with her accepting that she fell in love with her crush as a person and not for her sex/gender. It doesn't have trans themes but i liked the end :)
