The reason I enjoyed Down & Dirty is why I disliked this one: Hyungdo suffered but we mostly didn’t see it and the little we did see helped us hate that bastard he ended up with and side-eye his redemption, but Chang-Il gets r4ped left and right, very aggressively and very visually and we’re supposed to just stomach that; it’s wrong.
I was actually rooting for Sungtae to have some semblance of normalcy that would prompt a redemption for him just because he suits Chang-Il better than Yona, mostly visually and in terms of steps in life. And I hate cute, small tops with larger bottoms.
