When I read the raws, I didn't understand why Ri-in's angry with Cirrus when she knew exactly that Cirrus likes Skylar and she was in agreement to go out with Chan-il, so I think the slap was confusing. But now that I read the translation, I think I get it.
Ri-in agreed to date with Chan-il with a condition that Chan-il should never know that Ri-in and Cirrus were actually besties/cousins/closer than a mere acquaintance. Iirc Cirrus asked Ri-in to just said that they went to a tutoring school together. And I think we were also shown that their closeness/friendship had always been a roadblock for their previous exes (exes thought they were dating). My guess is Ri-in thought Cirrus asked for them to not revealing their true relationship for that--when actually it was to his little plan regarding Skylar.
But that arrangement made the scene with the two of them that Chan-il witnessed exactly looked like an affair. And instead of clarifying the mess he created to Chan-il, Cirrus decided to drop all of the burden to Ri-in--the one he asked to shut her mouth regarding their relationship--and potentially jeopardizing her relationship without giving a single help to defuse the situation. In addition to that, now Cirrus infodumped her the truth about Skylar and ASKED HER to relay the message to Chan-il. Not to mention inside it also some info that's personal to Skylar--Skylar should be the one who told Chan-il he loved him before, not Ri-in. Cirrus relaying these info to Ri-in as an explanation when he himself making excuse as to why he won't confront Chan-il himself with him would make Ri-in looks like a blabbermouth to save her own relationship.
It feels like Cirrus asked her to drop paints on the floor together and then gave her the mop and bucket to clean it and asked her to blame him when adults came angry, but Cirrus will be nowhere to see instead of cleaning together and took responsibility with her. It's a shitty thing to do to your bestfriend.

Right, and he just dumps it at all once so casually like he wants to get it off his chest but doesn't actually see how wrong he was for that. Like he said it so matter-of-factly like he expected her to be like "thank you for telling me. I'll go to talk to chan-il" He doesn't even apologise..
It's like he recognizes what actions hurt people but doesn't understand their response to being hurt. Like skylar didn't except his apology and cirrus was mad enough at him for not forgiving him to give him a bloody nose. I really hope he learns accountability soon

Hyesung and Taeyang's dynamic really intrigued me in a sense that both seems like a switch? Like, in this chapter I feel like Hyesung got that top masculine aura and Taeyang's just look super cute in that sweater, but when Taeyang got serious he's actually had this dark-underneath aura that l usually saw in some dark psycho top lol (not to mention his dark eyes could look so chilling!). And in main story, I feel like Taeyang got more of those top characteristic/stereotype than Hyesung, but it seems it was flipped in their side story. Really curious on Taeyang's thoughts and background, or was he really had that darkness creeping beneath him or not, and how it would play out in his relationship with Hyesung. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

not rly imo, taeyang is just a chill and quiet guy, he’s not dark or serious at all in fact he’s extremely babygirl esp in the future chapters, and hyesung is v much a golden retriever who loves to give affection (..in more ways than one ig lol) their relationship is basically someone who likes to be pampered (taeyang) and someone who likes to pamper their loved ones (hyesung) they’re v much giving a fixed dynamic idk

They're not even competing for money anymore, but straight up cheating at this point. Yuri and her bf was called the returnee couple because their on and off again relationship, but never once I saw Yuri gave a sh*t about her bf and even now seems like she's straight up targeting Mungju. And that Mungju jerk is just so weak-willed. I bet he stuck with Sanghee just because no one else liked him. Sanghee deserves better! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

No cause the way I'm hoping the other two fall for eachother is insane (I'm horrible with names but the girl getting cheated on and the guy who's a bit extroverted).
Like tbh I think they'd actually do really well together. He's outgoing and sure of himself and is the perfect mix of confidence and jealousy that he'd make his partner feel sure of themselves without being creepy/abusive.
Like if he was her og partner he gives off the vibes that he'd definitely play the game but would instantly back off with one comment from his gf if she said she felt uncomfortable.
And she seems like she truly devotes herself to who ever her partner is which, even though he's playing it cool, I feel like that's what he wants in a partner. Like they both give off "why tf would I entertain you when I have a great partner?" Vibes.
I reaaaaaallly hope at the end of this the guy with glasses gets left behind by both girls. Like cheeta print girl would definitely be like "oh you thought i actually liked you? Dude it was literally a game"

Ugh I hope the latest chapter marked the end of that i**est couple. I dropped this manga since that couple got more and more chapters. Why, though??? We got more side-pair to explore, like the top actor and Feng's secretary. We didn't even know the detail on how they're finally together and the creator chose to detailing A's plotline instead???
Please someone who somehow continue reading this manhua drop me a reply where the chapter where A's storyline is finally over. I don't want to read about that sexual offender.
When we first saw Woowon's father in his memory, I said to my friend that his father when younger looked like Seoan, I joked about how Woowon is probably the kind of "my dad is my ideal type" kind of kid, thinking that this would follow the cliche of "he finally cut off the toxic parents and the bf would help his father issue". My friend said that it's probably just the "same face" issue that often happened in manga/manhwa. But now seeing what's happening and how Seoan's figure/shillouette somehow always overlapped with the last hurtful memory of Woowon's dad in Woowon's blurred vision made me think whether it's intentional and not a simple same face issue. And now to think that Woowon despaired because he lost his 'connection' to Seoan due to his overlapping memory made my heart broke. Please go to therapy, you both.
