I don't understand why the sudden tonal shift from how the ML treats the MC. I know it's definitely some bullshit about protecting him BUT this trope is so dumb cause it often ruins characters. I've seen it so many times and I've dropped BLs cause of it. I'm so tired of a lack of communication being a trope in BL, can we PLEASE have a ML that doesn't have the maturity of a toddler and is able to communicate?! Is that too much to ask!
On another note, I LOOOOVEEE how the MC approached the ML's attitude. It's so refreshing cause fuck this immature man child honestly. The MC is too good for the ML and is definitely more mature than him. I love the MC more than the ML lol
