Why are you ppl forgetting how fucking terrible the empress is like im not defending the emporer but i think the empress not having actually been in a chapter for a while interacting w Etienne has affected yalls memories bc to say the emperor is worse is CRAZY. The emperor is a deadbeat, but that doesn’t compare to how comically evil the empress is
