So fucking tired of this obsession all this people have with age of fictional characters. For fuck sakes THEY ARE NOT REAL PEOPLE. Everytime i read a new manga, i can see hundreds of people even complaining about relationships with 2 year gap, or complaining that a character looks young, or small (short or petite), throwing the word ”pedo", "grooming" and "rape" with such an ease, like not a serious issue for real people. You even complain about mangas with themes you dislike (that you shouldn't be reading in the first place). If you don't like it, DONT READ IT. But stop with the hate cuz ruins the fun for the rest of us. If you don't like the characters, the themes, their age, the pace, JUST LEAVE. This is a good manga, so just stfu.

I agree with you on the ppl complaining and overreacting and if they don't like it don't read it but even if they not real , it's still fucking weird and disgusting if you draw something like rape and pedo. The ppl who do it are not right in the head. But idk why they complaining on this, I don't really see a problem-he didn't see him as a love interest as a child and they got together when he was an adult, and I think the author made it pretty good with the time skip. And since they are adults does the age matter? I thought we agreed on it being ok (and obviously not the weird big age gap)
It's not a "me" problem, when they demand to cancel or delete works of fiction just because is not of their liking.
If you don't like a product, don't consume it, but don't ask for its removal, because it goes against people's free will to read or watch whatever they want without hurting others.
It's stupid and arrogant to think the world owes them not making them uncomfortable with things they don't like. If that were the case, let's implement censorship (like in some countries) and remove the books and series they don't like or that touch on topics that offend their sensibilities.
No one owes them anything. Works of fiction don't owe reality or complacency to anyone; they just exist.

well, so, i definitely share your opinion on that matter, it is stupid to go so far because you dislike a piece of media or find it problematic.
i still think people are more than allowed to share their dislike for a piece of media or leave constructive criticism but starting a campaign to have it deleted or cancelled is wrong, especially when someone reads it for free.
