(Im not good with names sorry) The snake’s energy is still in the grandpa. Thats why the snake isnt waking up b/c a lot of energy is in him. So for him to wake up the MC is gonna have to choose to say bye to the grandpa or to the snake. I also feel like the grandpa knows this too. And is saying he has to say goodbye to him b/c his time has been up. Just a theory though
