What the ML said was rude. But looking at his point of view I understand why he said that. He felt like he was worth to him was a chewed piece of gum. He didn’t want someone to be nice to him out of pity. He didn’t want someone to “try” and relate to him. (Ik MC wasn’t but thats how the ML felt) He was pissed that he couldn’t end his suffering and he saw it as his fault. So he took his anger out on him. Which isnt good but it was a way for him to ease his suffering. Even though I understand where he’s coming from, he still said something VERY hurtful to the MC. Which Im pretty sure at the time he wasn’t doing great mentally either. So that might be one of the reasons why he went to that roach. But in the end I feel for them both.
