to the people considering reading this, the warning in the first chapter is REAL so heed it. prepare yourself if you decide to read.

i thought this is popular cause it's fap material but the first chapter got me interested, and reading up to ch 6, it got me HOOKED.
it has dark themes, and by that i mean real crime like human trafficking. as you can see in chapter 4, the organization is immoral as fuck and it gets worse as they're no longer treated as a human being. MC is the glimmer of hope that still treats them as another human being but still understands their new characteristics, but we'll see.

the art is amazing, i like the character design + world building, and the plot is good enough for me to be interested for now (I HOPE THE AUTHOR WON'T FLOP THIS UP IT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL).

i have also read the AU. though i just looked at the raw since I can't read the language (it's not in JP)

it was not that bad though SA warning. it's an angst manga with literal criminal themes in it. haruka is obviously obsessed and kinda manipulative? well he's not the kind haruka that you can see in the og and tbh i kinda liked it. it's a much darker take on the story.

naur i reread it and it's still pretty good. then again ppl you saw the kid on the cover and the yaoi tag what did you expect LOL
the point is the suffering they both feel from the age gap, without making it into an actual crime lol.
they could've dug deeper into chika's inner conflict tho, feeling guilt from schlonging using a kid
and they only did the deed when they're both an adult, so I'm still willing to take it.

fr fr the story could have been a lot better but nonetheless stilla good enough read.

the kohaku senku ship is great cause they'll never get a romantic ending. the ambigue feels between best friends and lovers is the absolute best experience. it's about what it could be, not what it is.

xeno and stanley is 100% a thing tho. the fuck was that chin grab. am i reading a shoujo manga here?

the only thing that actually ticks me off is how some characters completely ignore the MC in danger and then suddenly helps him smily smily like they did nothing wrong. and imo some panels feel rushed (like i get the context but it feels like i skipped a panel.) but i get that they're trying to shorten the less important panels since it's somewhat a fast-paced genre.

other than that i love it. i love how koogi draws human interaction that triggers my social anxiety and make me sick to the stomach. i hope koogi will be able to use the difficult elements(language barrier and bad knee, hearing impairment) in the manhwa to their fullest. please update new chapters every second thanks
