To be honest this is my fourth time reading/watching this, and it's only just now occurred to me just how much I only care about Rihito, and how much i dont give a FUCK about ANY of the other characters
Its to the point that reading this physically hurt by the end, because he was never EVER told simple words like "i like you" "are you okay/how are you" "i love you", not even by the fucking cop, or any other "parental figure" that existed (NONE), and not by any friends throughout childhood either. because he spent childhood in a fucking box.
And even then, even when all those fuckers in the story going to help him learned about this, not even an ounce of sympathy or love was shown. Bruh theres no way you learn that he was locked in a white cellar and forced to "heal" people until he had to have been at least 13 or 14, and that thats the ONLY THING keeping him alive, and then you go "yeah i really dont like you, fuck you man" IMMEDIATELY.
Like its physically painful how nobody shows him any concern at all in the whole manga, like, never, only when he goes "i need saving" OUT LOUD does anyone even CONSIDER that he needs help (NOBODY IN THIS MANGA FUCKING COMMUNICATES, AND IK THAT GOES FOR RIHITO AS WELL, BUT I GIVE RIHITO A PASS ON ACCOUNT OF HIM BEING A SLAVE FOR A CULT FOR ALL OF HIS FORMATIVE YEARS).
