This chapter had me on a roller coaster. First off, I'm sooooo damn proud of Anya. Like she.my daughter for real. And then whiplash one time with that tontritus bolt. Loid's face just didn't know what emotion to portray, poor muscles just gave up trying.
And are we slowly getting more into Anya's back story? Yes please!
Then there's Damian's brother. I'm just gonna come right out and say it. I believe he's an experiment as well. There's no way a human being can have absolutely no thoughts. But then he has his moments. And he looks almost identical to his dad. Guess Damian got the mom's looks. What if the project Anya and bond came from was a result of Desmond. He prolly funded that whole programme, and he and his son were the first to undergo it's tested results in the family. Then maybe the mom couldn't handle it so that's why she's so bipolar. Damian was probably too young to get his turn, or maybe the mom protected him from doing so? Like Zuko's mom killed his grandfather to protect him in ATLA? Whatever the case, the Desmond family certainly has to be connected to that case somehow. There's just no other way I can see to explain their alien like behavior. And it'd certainly give incentive later down the line to want to help Damian. Ahhh, the theories in my head are just starting to buzz. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
