In my understanding.. Sooin’s blood is actually poisonous to vampires. But it’s sweet to Chi-hwan instead because he had eaten vampire’s hearts.
JooHyun wants Sungha to make Sooin his link in order to kill Chi-Hwan, so he also fed Sungha vampire’s hearts which none vampire want to eat that. So Sungha is quite right that he doesn't owe JooHyun, they're even as using each other.
