ok ok. so it's a bit of a change from the typical scene of going back in time to before you died. neat! i'm glad MC and her (real) daughter's family are genuinely loving and want to help, too. but ... tons of things are kind of glossed over? and here and there are plenty of things that don't make sense. i don't know how to explain it, but the duchess shouldn't have suffered this much so easily when, idk, especially when she's this prominent figure in society known for her angelic personality LMAO
also, i really don't know how to feel about them also enacting their revenge on catherine. sure, she did bad too, but really it was because of the bad adults around her. that doesn't make the abuse magically go away so definitely address that, just... differently.

///somewhat enjoyable, somewhat cringe. i feel like i have to make myself reread it a few times to "understand" what's going on, or clench my fists because i feel secondhand embarrassment. it's just really weird... like the author is forcing interactions and reactions just to have them. the romance doesn't feel natural, the characters feel ooc despite the reader not even being given enough time to really Learn about them, and the FL is a phat mary-sue. she's charming in a way, awkward and naive yet out there and a big go-getter (not the greatest combination but makes for interesting scenes), but it's also...err...i mean... it's weird how in One frame the ML is all :moyai: and then the Next frame, he's complimenting her hands. um. why? is he just a shy boy? ok, sure, i get it, but ...it just seemed so out of nowhere. nothing to gradually build up on or anything, it's all just thrown at you. a lot of slapstick comedy to make you fall backwards from either laughter or confusion ..except you don't get a cushion, and you have to kind of pick yourself back up. ugh. idk. i be kind of stupid sometimes

///otherwise, the art style is really nice on the eyes. ML looks like any other cool black-haired prince out there, but we all eat that shit up like groceries don't we lmfao. FL looks gorgeous hohoho...and errmmm, i do believe it is time to claim Elliott as my son. :thumbsup:

ok. there were a few people who had their gripes on this manhwa in particular and i wholeheartedly agree with all of them; i was so lost from the get-go like, why does the ML just Fall for the FL right away and why...just WHY is she so lukewarm??? so Duh. holy shit.
pretty or not, i think i'll just simp for another ML and FL elsewhere. it's boring, i'm confused, there is plenty left unexplained, the storytelling is lazy and just pisses me off at this point, and honestly...i just wanna see more lore being told i mean CMONNN ARGHHHH FUCK :moyai:

otherwise, the art is pretty and i enjoyed how her family was so doting. the ML is a handsome himbo with sort of...a bland personality but eh, whatever. i may or may not come back soon.

im a bit sad that the art style here and in the promo isnt the same ...and these current translations are kind of ...bad!!! but i am enjoying myself so its fine lol. sanya is very cute. i cant seem to see the attitude that was shown in the promo being portrayed in the chapters tho. different...so different that it throws me off. cant wait for there to be some official translations as well as some cool FL moments hohoho
i hope everyone enjoys it as much as i am atm!

edit: ngl im still really thrown off with the current sanya rn, bc in the promo, she was portrayed as very :moyai: and well, carefree and like a daydreamer. but in the actual chapters, shes very... well, basically the opposite. and, once again, allow me to say... these translations are god awful. i will have to wait for much longer before i will read anymore past where i am now. yeap yeap!!
