
It’s because he’s always anxious. Sex puts him in a calmer, more relaxed mood. Technically, it’s not a jinx but rather a fragment of his past trauma. He got so messed up because he never really had proper parental guidance. Sure, the director and his mother were there, but after everything that happened to Jaekyung, he became irreparable. Jaekyung needs so much more to help him heal from those traumas. Dan could be his Nirvana, tbh.
Many might feel disappointed, but we all know the story is heading in that direction. With all the backstory that’s already been revealed, maybe we should just read it with a logical mind instead of constantly complaining about what we don’t like. It’s fiction, after all — and a series at that. Let it release more chapters. Honestly, this pacing is better than forcing both characters to suddenly develop feelings for each other without proper context.
