Why is all author like this? Like, they came up with an idea, and only give their best on the first chapters, in the middle they will only focus on the romance even when the ml doesnt have the reason as why he has feelings for the mc, i get why heowon likes the mc 'cause they already know each other for quite long time, but what is the reason for the prosecutor to be in loveeee with the mc? And ask him for marriage too? Nothing makes sense here, drugs dealer them were forgotten

even if they want to make it more condensed, producers want series to run long to generate more profit, and the contracts almost always stipulate that the comic & characters being to the publishers/platform, so the company will harass & eventually fire the author if they don't comply. they can hire another artist and the producer will just tell them what to do. it's pretty sad, really. but it's hard to keep a series running for 2+ years when it could really be a 5 chapter story.
